Cons:
- Auto-focus isn't always perfect.
- No optical viewfinder: view is digital only.
- Eats batteries due to needing LCD all the time.
- Noise at anything but low ISO
Finding: It's not a DSL, but one of the better point-and-shoots. The zoom is great for its price range!
I've seen a Powershot S5 get heavy use. Beware of focus issues as the lens accumulates wear and tear..
